Curves and lines

A graphic, soothing garden, between structure and the softness of plants

After renovating their house and installing a pool, our clients wanted a garden design around their pool that would be contemporary, harmonious and easy to live with. This walled garden, open onto beautiful views, was the ideal setting for a project directly connected to their interior.

The request:

  • Enjoy a friendly outdoor space to relax and entertain
  • Create continuity between the house, terrace, pool and garden
  • Design a modern, structured, easy-care garden
  • Include shaded areas suited to the whole family
  • Enhance the views from the house

Our proposal:
A balance between lines and curves

The design rests on a subtle interplay between geometric shapes and softer lines.
Lines structure the spaces, while curves bring movement and softness.

An organized, flowing garden
The garden is made up of several complementary spaces:

  • A central planted square that structures the view
  • A sunny terrace, connected to the house
  • A shaded pergola facing the pool
  • Relaxation areas around the water
  • A dry garden, graphic and easy to maintain

The paths naturally guide people from sun to shade, in a gentle, consistent atmosphere.

A well-kept green setting

The existing walls are showcased and built into the design, while the plantings filter views and create different atmospheres. The pool is integrated into the garden.

A simple, well-suited plant palette combines good looks, durability and low maintenance.

More details

  • A place for everyone

The multiple uses allow everyone to find their place.

  • Play with views

Sometimes hidden, accompanied, revealed or scripted with atmospheres specific to each.

  • A dialogue between line and curve

Through the drawing of plant waves, curves, paths, linear, buildings and plant shapes.

  • An autonomous site

The goal is to minimize human intervention with low-maintenance plants.

  • Playing with geometry

The line is omnipresent in the paths, the fruit plantations, in connection with the organization of the city.
