You are A co-owned building or its managing agent
Green the courtyard, garden or roof of your building
Co-owner, member of the residents’ committee or managing agent: would you like to green the outdoor spaces of your building?
We support you from the preliminary design to the supervision of the works, in Paris and elsewhere, with or without grants: in Paris, CoprOasis can fund a large part of the studies and works.
Florence Merrien, garden designer and creator in the landscape and a graduate of the École nationale supérieure de paysage, will guide you.

Why green Your building?

Because a green courtyard or garden becomes a real place to live for all the co-owners: seats, paths and planting turn a space people only pass through into a shared green living room.

Because plants cool the summer: chosen for shade and half-shade, in open ground where possible, otherwise in lightweight planters on the slab, they bring greenery even to a narrow courtyard.

Because more permeable ground, a green roof and collected rainwater reduce runoff and heat islands, an issue for every city. In Paris, grants such as CoprOasis can fund the studies and the works.

Because a well-designed project stays easy to maintain, by the company of your choice, and keeps the building’s service charges predictable.

And the CoprOasis grants in Paris
- In Paris, CoprOasis is one of the schemes open to co-owned buildings, but it is not a prerequisite for working with us. Run by the City of Paris, it supports the greening of courtyards, roofs and façades, the removal of hard surfaces and the collection of rainwater.
- Studies: a flat €5,000 for the preliminary design of a courtyard or a roof terrace. Works: up to 80% of the cost of the greening works, capped at €30,000. The grants for a courtyard and for a roof can be combined.
- For whom? All co-owned buildings in Paris, with eligibility checked by the Agence parisienne du Climat. How: a first contact with the Agence if the project is still an idea, registration on the CoachCopro platform if it is already under way. Amounts announced by the City of Paris in October 2026, to be confirmed on paris.fr.
- Is your building outside Paris? We work in Paris, the Yvelines and the Hauts-de-Seine and, on request, anywhere in France and in neighbouring countries. CoprOasis is only for buildings in Paris. Elsewhere, we help you find any grants from your town or département.
- The constraints of building courtyards (access, loads, utilities, shade) are detailed on the page Green a building courtyard.

Frequently asked questions
Do you work for co-owned buildings outside Paris?
Yes. We work in Paris, the Yvelines and the Hauts-de-Seine and, on request, anywhere in France and in neighbouring countries, greening the courtyards and gardens of co-owned buildings. CoprOasis only applies to buildings in Paris. Elsewhere, we can help you find any grants from your town or département.
Do you need a CoprOasis grant to work with FLAURE?
No. We design and supervise the greening of co-owned buildings with or without a grant, in Paris and elsewhere. In Paris, CoprOasis is one possible grant among others, and we help you put the application together if you wish.
What is CoprOasis?
CoprOasis is a scheme of the City of Paris that helps co-owned buildings green their courtyard, roof or façade, remove hard surfaces and collect rainwater. It combines technical support, provided by the Agence parisienne du Climat, and financial aid.
Which CoprOasis grants for a co-owned building in Paris?
The City of Paris announces a flat €5,000 for the preliminary design studies, then up to 80% of the cost of the greening works, capped at €30,000. The grants for a courtyard and for a roof can be combined. The amounts are to be confirmed when the project starts.
How do you get a greening project approved at the general meeting?
The project is first presented to the residents’ committee, then the managing agent puts it on the agenda of the general meeting. We prepare the documents for an informed vote: plans, atmospheres and an estimate of the works. The majority required depends on the nature of the works, and your managing agent will tell you which.
What is the managing agent’s role in a greening project?
The managing agent represents the co-owners: they take the project to the general meeting, sign the contracts and follow up the payments. We work alongside them, from the preliminary design to the handover of the works, to make their task easier.
