The diamond – Buga Festival

As part of the international landscape garden festival “Buga” in Germany, we were asked by the city of Erfurt to design a garden located at the foot of a citadel.

The “Diamond” garden aims to reproduce the diffraction of the facets of a diamond through its geometric designs and its range of colors.

Five “sparkle gardens” were carried out within the plot. They propose to reproduce the facets of the diamond materialized by plants taking up their colors. The plant range is designed to offer rhythm through variations in height, foliage colors and flowering. These are designed to provide interest throughout the seasons.

Initially planned for the duration of the event, the “Diamond” garden will ultimately be permanent.
