THE LINK

The original plot includes a collection of shrubs, shared gardens, a rockery managed by an association. It is therefore a space with multiple functions that we have redesigned. Our objective was to design an urban garden that embraces itself as such. The designed park offers city dwellers a breath of fresh air, a place of calm, rest but also exchange and play. It is a place of connection between several entities: The “ Balbi ” park, the King’s vegetable garden and the city. The very gentle topography allows the transition between the meadow, the grove and the edge and allows the installation of water mirrors. Link between heaven and earth:

• Wooden pontoons allow the visitor to rise… it is the link to the sky
• The paths never come to an end… they are diluted in the garden, they are the link with the earth….

In the West, the trees are taller. In the rest of the park, the smaller trees allow you to alternate between spaces open to the view, to the light, to others… and more intimate spaces, at the heart of these small entities independent of each other.
