DIVE INTO THE FOREST
The Parc de Saint-Cloud residence was built in 1963 on a hillside on the Marivel plateau, located in the town of Avray, in place of a villa designed by the architect Le Corbusier. The residence has a panoramic view of the forest of Saint-Cloud park and a beautiful ¬wooded heritage including many centuries-old trees. However, this park needed to be reworked in order to respond to various problems, in particular the degeneration of certain trees.
The “Dive into the Forest” project seeks to highlight and exacerbate the feeling of diving into the forest felt during the first visit to the site.

A VEGETABLE RHYTHM
3 plant waves run through the site from top to bottom, varying the heights, shapes, textures and colors of the plants.

Through a range of vegetation whose heights gradually decrease from the highest point of the site towards its lowest point

Through the drawing of plant waves, curves, paths, linear, buildings and plant shapes.

By providing a range of nourishing and melliferous plants and by installing plant waves ideal for sheltering numerous small animals and pollinators.
